Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has singled out Alejandro Garnacho for praise following their 1-1 draw with Arsenal on Sunday.

Speaking after the game, Amorim claimed the Argentine winger played โ€œa complete game.

โ€Garnacho was not on the scoresheet, as Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring before Declan Rice equalised for the Gunners.

Amorim was pleased his team scored first and insisted they had enough chances to win the game.

He told BBC Match of the Day: โ€œIt helps when you score a goal and donโ€™t suffer [concede first]; you can feel the energy in the stadium.

โ€œAt this moment, we are trying to win games and stay compact.

We were very close to scoring in the second half.โ€œWe were really competitive, and I think that is important. We pushed forward rather than sitting back.

โ€œWe had some opportunities to win the game. Arsenal put a lot of men inside the box to defend, and I think Alejandro Garnacho played a complete game, which helped us a lot.โ€
