‘It helps me control my desires – Victoria Inyama on effects of FGM

Veteran Nollywood actress, Victoria Inyama, has revealed the best thing that has ever happened to her.
She made the revelation during an Instagram live season with Daddy Freeze.
Discussing about Female genital mutilation, FGM, popularly referred to as circumcision, Victoria noted that the procedure has helped her to control her sexual urges.
While describing the procedure as the best thing that has ever happened to her, she also revisited the trauma after being circumcised at the age of five.
“FGM is evil. You now have to deal with the consequences. I was circumcised because I grew up with my grandmother in the village.
That’s the best thing that they did for me because it is helping me a lot.“If I say I no dey do, I no dey do. And that is the power that I have. That’s why nobody can say they’ve seen me with a man in any hotel”, she said.
